Christie is the store that bucks that trend. A world away from the identikit fashions churned out by High Street chains, the boutique specialises in bespoke and hard-to-find pieces. Pick up a dress here and it’s safe to say you won’t run the risk of bumping into someone wearing the same outfit at your next dinner party. The store’s clothing range veers from casual to formal, with a prom and black tie collection catering for those special occasions where making the right impression – i.e being dressed to kill – is imperative. Floral blouses, tightly fitted skirts, plunging necklines, paisley patterns, elegant winter jackets and much more are housed within the Titchfield Street store. Away from the dressier items, there’s also space for more practical womenswear: black trousers, tights, jumpers and other work and casual attire.
